BeautEase

The BeautEase, an electronic makeup brush cleaner, is our company's, BeautyTech Inc.'s, product. We are hoping to sell it via our website and eventually in retail stores. It provides a convenient way to effectively clean makeup brushes. Many women spend large sums of money on their makeup brushes and spend a lot of time and effort to clean them. Our product provides an easier way to maintain these brushes and allows people to clean their brushes more frequently. The BeautEase features a plastic container into which the user can put any desired cleaning solution. The top includes multiple spaces for brushes to be held while being cleaned. When the device is switched on, the brushes are cleaned by the cleaning mechanism on the bottom. The device also has a drying feature as well as a rack to organize brushes.

My name is Jeff and I am a member of BeautyTech Inc., a team in Boston University's School of Management Cross-Functional Core program. In this project, a group of eight team members must assemble a business plan and prototype for a brand new product. Ours is the BeautEase, an electronic makeup brush cleaner.
